What cartilage does
Cartilage is the smooth tissue that lines the ends of your bones where they meet. It handles cushioning and lets joints glide instead of grind.
Your knees carry the most load. Your spine has cartilage discs between every vertebra. Hips, shoulders, hands, all the same tissue doing the same job. Cartilage is prone to degeneration over time.

Where the peptides come from
Sigumir contains natural cartilage peptides filtered from the cartilage tissue of young animals. The original formulation is derived from the cartilage of calves under 12 months old. The filter cuts off at 5 kDa, so nothing larger passes through.
That makes it a Cytomax, which is what the natural cartilage peptide bioregulator form is called in the Khavinson system. Cytogens are the synthetic counterpart, built in a lab to copy the active part of the sequence.

How short peptides act at the cellular level
